The voice actors guild game, ready to go on strike

More than 95 percent of voting members approved the measure.

The voice actors

The SAG -AFTRA SAG (Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artist) announced that 96.52 percent of the members entitled to vote have agreed to go on strike "if necessary "in order to improve working conditions and compensation of the voice actors in the game industry.

"The idea is simply that if a game becomes a huge success, the actors should participate in the financial success", commented at the time the promoters of this strike. They also hope to reduce "stress" recording sessions to which they are subjected actors.

With this resounding support from the group of actors, the union may call a strike at any time if a deal with video game companies is not reached.
